HEALTHeye

A German–Danish collaboration developing digital home-monitoring for chronic disease using biomedical optics, AI, and eHealth.

About the project

Cross-border innovation in health monitoring

HEALTHeye is a German–Danish research collaboration developing innovative digital solutions for home monitoring of chronic diseases. By combining biomedical optics, artificial intelligence, and digital healthcare technologies, we explore the eye as a diagnostic window to the human body.

Our aim is to create portable measurement systems and a digital platform that enable patients and healthcare professionals to monitor health conditions safely and effectively from home, improving accessibility to healthcare, especially in rural areas. HEALTHeye brings together expertise in medical technology, digitalization, and eHealth, strengthening innovation capacity and collaboration in the cross-border region of Northern Germany and Southern Denmark.
